C Grade - Round 6 - 26/11/11

C Grade  MRCC  Vs Wests  at Ross Park  26/11/2011

 Won the toss and Batted. Lester & Renz opened.  Looking good after 2 overs no loss for 15. First ball 3^rd over Renz bowled for 2 , Lambs in and out in no time for a duck. Stewie in at 4  only 2 scoring shots 4 & 6 gone for 10, Bucks in up the ladder at 5 held the innings together in a patient stay at the crease, Lester next to go then the spiral was in full flow Rob Pearson gone for a duck, Mick Betteridge  gone for 4 Caney gone for a duck. Good stand between newcomer Chappy and old Bucks of 23. Chappy gone for 10 Bucks next top score 19. Then Hazza in at 11 faced 12 balls but became our 4^th duck.

Started the bowling innings well but with no luck and a lot of frustration Gods know how Mick didn’t get 2 LBW’s but maybe the fact that we got 5 LB’s against them last time had something to do with it. Jethro on first change first ball leg stump out of the ground.  Both bucks and Mick took consolation wickets once the game was over for the first time to improve the scorebooks. But alas we just didn’t have enough runs on the board and were never going to defend 95 well beaten in the end.
