Following on from our win in the first game back after the break, we were somewhat more positive this week.
Winning the toss and batting first, it seemed we had done well to amass 150. Again we were made up from a smattering of C Grade and B Grade players, and actually had the luxury? of being able to sit some blokes out.
Find of the day was Chis, who top scored in the batting and took a couple with the ball. Contrary to popular belief, I think his days in C Grade are numbered!
Anyway, dropped catches, some poor fielding and 45,000 degrees of heat seemed to take its toll on us, and Feds chased down the total with 9 overs to go.
Still in with a chance to topple Wests out of the finals race, so signs aren"t all negative.
Training, training, training, training. At this time of year, if you have to ask where we train and when, it's a pretty sad state of affairs.
See you at TRAINING
