A Grade - Round 6 - 12/11/11

A Grade 12/11/11 - Rovers V Federals (Albrecht Oval)

The fellas just couldn't get a good partnership together this weekend and as a result we struggled to a miserable 100. Again our best was Adrian McAdam who made 31 runs, Lochie Brand made 21 and Brendan Smith and Josh Partington got starts. Good to see Smithy back playing. Unfortunately Lowie and the new guy were late withdrawals forcing a few changes. Thanks to Daniel Goldring, who not only responded to the call up but stood up and went in at number 3. Also cheers to BTM who again made the venture to the A's.

Our bowling started off well with Daniel Clarke and Adrian working well in tandem. Derek also got amongst them. Nollsy was removed for a duck, and the wickets were consistently taken, with Tom Clements being the only real resistance. Full credit to our bowlers. At 6 for 79 we were in with a chance but a dropped catch cost us dearly. Feds slogger got them home.

Its a bit of an up and down season so far to say the least. A few changes in the making this week with Lowie and Quanny available as well as the new guy (Joel) possible coming in.

Anyway down to training boys cos we need more wins on the board.
